What Happens in a Pet Psychic Session?

This is your opportunity to hear what’s on your pet’s mind, have questions answered about problems and concerns you are have and gain an understanding of how your pet views the world.  You can find out about their past before coming to you, what they do and don't like, what is the cause of unwanted behaviors, how they view you and your family, do they have any health concerns,  what they do and don't understand and how you can create more cooperation and an enjoyable relationship with your animal friend.

Most of Cherie’s sessions are conducted by phone. It is not necessary for her to be physically present or have a picture to communicate with your pet and distance is irrelevant to the process.

A typical session starts with Cherie finding out from you a little about what’s going on with your pet. She then will ask your pet to share what’s on their mind and what they would like you to know. It is then your turn to ask questions of your pet to gain a deeper understanding of your pet’s perspective and why they do things they way they do. Cherie relays back to you what your pet has shared with her and wants you to know. Based on the communication with you pet, she’ll often make suggestions to help you and your pet create solutions to problems expressed during the session.

Preparing for a Session:

After you have made an appointment, write down a list of questions, concerns or issues you would like for me to discuss with your pet. The more specific your questions, the more concise and helpful your pet’s answers can be.

Cherie prefers to work with specific questions as you get more out of a session when you ask what you want to know. Make a list of questions for your pet. They can be as specific as you like, but please don’t have a specific answer in mind as the answer may not be what you think! If you have certain issues you want to concentrate on, please mention it at the beginning of the session. Something else to consider is Cherie cannot change your pet’s behavior. If you are having behavior or training problems, Cherie will offer suggestions and help mediate a compromise between you and your pet for a peaceful resolution that is fair to everyone, but it is up to you to implement the changes needed.

Tell your pet (both living and in spirit) within 24 hours of the session day that Cherie will be available to talk with them. Ask them to please give Cherie clear and specific information during the session. Let them know that you encourage them to say WHATEVER is on their mind during the session. This is their opportunity to tell you whatever they want you to know. Cherie does not and will not filter the information she gets from your pet.

What You Can Expect From Your Session:

• A deeper understanding of your pet
• A clear picture of how your pet views you, your family, other pets in the home and the world.
• Their specific, distinct and special personality
• Any health concerns that are experiencing currently

You will hear the information from your pet exactly how Cherie receives, whether it all makes sense or not.

You and your pets have things to say to each other that need to be said.  Listening is a big part of this process and by knowing they are heard, your pet will be appreciative and your relationship will be mutually rewarding.  Expect the session to open up new avenues for inquiry, and Cherie will listen to your changing needs.

Cherie wouldn't have this ability if she didn’t have a love and compassion for all animals.  She cares about your pet and about you!

Cherie schedules sessions with enough time to complete the session and make sure the animal has said everything they want you to know. This may take more time than you originally scheduled. 

What NOT to Expect from Your Session:

You pet may not have the answers you want them to. Don’t have preconceived ideas on what your animal or animals have to say. While you may 'want' to hear certain things from your pet, the focus of the session is their perception of things and that is normally not the same as yours. If they’re in pain, they may not be able to communicate the cause of their problem to Cherie. Just like when we’re experiencing pain, we may not know the cause of the pain only that it hurts. It’s always best to consult your veterinarian for more detailed information on your pet’s health concern before it turns into a health problem.

Your pet may also want to talk about things that you don’t. Be open to your pet’s wishes, needs, wants and messages. Cherie encourages you to acknowledge what they are telling you and then ask the questions you would like answered.

Cherie does not diagnose, treat or heal illness/disease in any way. She only relays your animal's pains, feelings, needs and symptoms as they describe them or as she feels or perceives them. This information is helpful to you and your veterinarian to understand what your pet was feeling at that time and to help pinpoint the area in their body that is being affected.

During the Session:

If you've scheduled a telephone reading and you're in the US, Cherie WILL CALL YOU at the designated appointment time so you don't have to pay the long distance charges.

You are welcome to have someone with you during the session, both in person or over the phone. Cherie connects with your pet through your energy, so if you have a lot of people with you during your session, their pets may come through and not yours. Also, if you have someone who isn't interested in the session, negative about it or even just having a bad day, their energy will affect your pet’s session.

Scheduling a Session:

Appointments are made in advance either by email or by phone. For new clients I require payment in advance. You can pay by Mastercard or Visa using PayPal.

Types of Sessions:

Cherie offers the following sessions for pet psychic:

Pet Communication Session:

This can range from a single question up to a 90 minute session, which can either be done in person or by phone.

Pet History Assessment:

This service is useful after the animal is placed with the rescue or foster family and before placement in a permanent home. Through a communication session, I can understand past abuse/neglect, behaviors, fears, food/health issues, etc.  This service provides useful information when considering the best “forever” home for the animal.

Re-Homing Transitional Counseling:

This service is beneficial to the new family & the animal. It helps to ensure a smooth & peaceful transition from the rescue or foster family to their new home, I communicate with the pet for 1 month (4-15 min sessions, once a week).  Each session addresses unwanted behaviors providing the animal & family an opportunity to work thru behaviors. It can increase the chance for the animal to remain in the home rather than returned due to misunderstood behaviors.

Lost Animal Appointments:

If your pet is lost and you need Cherie’s help locating the animal, she needs to be notified of the pet’s disappearance within 24 hours from when you last saw your pet. It can be helpful if you can provide a recent picture of your pet and give her an idea of where you last saw your pet.

Please note: I cannot guarantee that your pet will be returned once I have communicated with them or had them describe their location to me. The longer the animal has been away, the more difficult it is to find them. While I will do everything within my abilities to support you in your efforts to locate your pet, I can make no guarantees of their return. What I can provide are clues that may be helpful to you in your search.

Pet Psychic Party or Group Session:

Are you tired of the usual Dogpark date, Pet Club meet-up or Pet Birthday party? Try something fun and unique with other Pet lovers. Try a Pet Psychic Party! Hosting a pet psychic party in your home is a fun way to spend an afternoon or evening with close friends, family, co-workers with or without their pets.

Cherie will give readings to everyone present. She will communicate with pets that are living and those who have passed over to the spirit world. Her Pet Parties are quite amazing! Many people have unanswered questions about their beloved pets here and in the afterlife. Are they happy? Is there anything they want you to know? Are they feeling okay? For those who are in the afterlife: Are they healed or still sick? Who are they with? Who is now caring for them?

You can mix and match Cherie’s pet and people services to take full advantage of her expertise. Cherie can give Psychic readings to your guests who don’t have pets and give Pet Psychic readings to those guests that have pets here or on the other side.

Cherie requires a minimum of 10 guests. Prices and guest minimum are more for parties outside of the Palm Springs, CA area. Guests don’t have to have their pet present for Cherie to communicate with them. A picture of the pet(s) is all she needs to connect with them.

How Does A Pet Psychic Party Work?

After everyone arrives and is relaxed and having fun, Cherie will introduce herself and talk a little about what your guests can expect from their reading or their pet’s reading. Once this is done, each of your guests will go to a designated area and get their pet or psychic reading with Cherie. Cherie doesn’t need the pet or pets present to give them a reading. A picture will be sufficient

You as the host/hostess will receive a FREE 30-minute pet or psychic reading as a thank you for your help and for hosting the party. If 2 or more of your guests book and hold their own pet or psychic party, you receive a FREE 60-minute pet or psychic reading after their shows are held.

Now that I’ve decided to have a Pet Psychic Party, what do I do next?

It’s very simple... get a list together of friends, family, co-workers and neighbors, contact them and let them know the date and time of your party (minimum of 10 guests). Also let them know that they do not need to have their pet present at the party for Cherie to communicate with them. Right before the party, set out some light snacks and beverages. All Cherie needs is, a place for everyone to sit and relax for the brief introduction and a separate room or secluded area for the individual psychic readings.
